Try an egg dip with a mélange of vegetables. Blend with mayo, green onion, and fresh herbs such as dill and basil. This smooth, delicious number goes wonderfully not only with veggie sticks but also pita, crackers, and other finger foods.
If the party theme is breakfast, you won’t go wrong with the winning combo of egg and avocado breakfast crostini. Preheat your oven, slice the baguette into around 16 slices, and lay the slices on greased baking sheet.
Brush the top with olive oil, and bake for around 5 minutes or until lightly toasted. Beat eggs and milk in a bowl, melt butter in a small skillet and swirl pan to coat the bottom. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet. Push, pull, and fold eggs using your spatula until no egg liquid remains. Season it with salt and pepper. For the final assembly, mash avocado, lemon juice, and salt together in a separate bowl. Spoon it over baguette slices, followed by the scrambled eggs. Top every slice with chopped tomatoes and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Who says you can’t go fancy in your egg starters? Try new stuff like wild mushrooms and fried duck egg paired with Brussels sprouts and walnut and truffle. Eggs can also spice up old appetizer favorites, may they be your trusty Caesar salad or crowd favorites such as messy nachos, topping a fried egg on top for added texture and colors.
